i ought not to be blogging, but what the heck, im here writing typing away. finally got my ITP, stuck in Tuas. with a meagre "allowance" of $440/mth. god, it is a torture working in tuas with the bad air coming from Jurong Island and all those foreign workers. *faints. hopefully it would not be the same like the one i worked in before. bah. ok, enough of all the ranting before i have not even start work yet, lest my old bull nags at me again.
enough of it. im much better off than the rest who are not in CLS and start work immediately after exams. thats coz its the norm of the industry sectors to take a long break for CNY. thank god for little favours like this i guess. this leaves a little time to earn extra cash outside eh? which is much needed. let's do some calculations:
Transportation: $52/ for concession (if company dsnt provide, but mos prob will) $0.70/trip (rounded up) $(0.70 * 2) * 5 * 4 = $28/month for transportation to and fro excluding going out.
Food: IF like my old company, provide catering, coz tuas is like so "accessible" $2.50/$3.00 per meal. $3 * 20 = $60/mth excluding drinks and aftnn tea
$28 + $60 = $88 (lucky number. LOL)
$88/$440 = 1/5
therefore, i have only 4/5 amounting to $352, which includes miscellaneous stuff, perhaps new clothes for the 7 weeks of work, or things to use/buy over there?
BAH !!
working life sucks, where money becomes a deciding factor for many things! and not to say the increasing 7% GST, i rather stay at home n cook !
i have to push hard for money money money.. affordable, but when the monthly bank statement comes, i will faint. i dont want to dig and dig and left with none.
have many many goals to attain this year. heh heh heh. shall reveal them one by one when i attain it.
ok, back to my books' o books. SIGH..
