` a bombard of photos !! first... family dinner at mandarin hotel. it was simply too dark cos there was performances and i only managed to get a few photos cos my camera flat out on me. and so, my trusty w850i came in...  some random photo of the lighting effects. lol.  table setting.  dark starter dish.  looks nice isnt it?  and this is mandarin's famous chicken rice. *thumbs up! next.. the old woman's bdae. notice that i hardly take photos of the people. cos... food is nicer and easier to take photos. =)  "xin fu lou", they opened another one in town. but not the same name.  he and his black face.  the longevity bun.  the starter. the mayo prawns were good. =)  the crispy chicken  mutilated fish. it really irks me to see the fish being mutilated like that. true, the waiter/waitress removed the bones away, but still... its UGLY.  smothered veggies.  prawns in herbal base. prawns were fresh. good!  scallop + sotong + celery.  me. =) first time eating set dinner at fortunate restaurant. it is quite famous for its dim sum, which i raved about the fried durian during the post where we went to Dragon Gate. Quite nice and VERY filling. the set dinner that is. can try. lol. next... cousin's wedding.. im still reeling from the after effects from the whole day. busy for the whole day. super glad that everything went on smoothly, thou as usual, there were irritating guests who came late. it was stated on the invitation card that cocktail starts at 7pm and the holy matrimony starts at 7.30pm. these people can arrive at 8.30pm, thinking that they are very early. these people are a bane to weddings and should not be invited!!! super lack of sleep now. ZZZZZ.  on the way to the hotel..  my niece.     table setting  starter dish  crispy chicken  yet another mutilated fish  my creative work.  smothered veggies yet again.  noodles  yang zhi gan lu. its mango dessert with pomelo bits. Nice!          =p   i like this best. =)  |
