damn. after 3 days worth of MC and a hell of a week gulping down herbal tea, juices, plenty of coke, i managed to catch my voice back. not entirely, but well, 70%. this beats keeping quiet and not being able to talk n talk n talk like what i love to do. and to julie and delphine, i hope im not as ghostly pale as you 2 had said by tmr. lol.
had my first driving practical. lol. my left leg was going to protest on me, after pressing down the clutch pedal almost for the entire 2h. my instructor aka kelvin's uncle, was pretty cool too. he let me drove around myself. obviously at a super slow speed and at some ulu ulu almost godforsaken stretch of road. lol. pretty proud of my first lesson as i only killed the car once. it was an accident, i must insist. there was this school bus behind me and the #@$%&*@ uncle horned at me. nabei. the L plate so big cannt see meh ?! irritating! and so.. out of kan-chiongness. i killed the car. lol.
i just have to bring this up: My family and I have our meals occasionally at the taman jurong food centre. let's divert abit: the food offered there has a wide variety at an affordable hawker centre price. so basically, it is pretty much laid-back over there and sorts. and i quite like the tze char over there. the chicken wings are NICE. ok, back to topic. so you know, there will be the cleaning uncles and aunties or sometimes foreign workers. normally, they will not come to the table immediately to clear the plates and dishes and it is the norm for them to clear away the previous occupants' remnants after you manage to snag their table right? and so, it is the same situation over there. however... this happened to me ALOT of times. I just want to wash down my meal with a soda or sorts. I mean, any person can and have the rights to do so right? and so.. my family proceeded to order our canned drinks and yes, we were minding our own business, enjoying our drinks. ahh.. and out of a sudden, the cleaning aunties hovered around our table, and wanted to clean our table and obviously our meal was not finished yet. i mean, how can it be when almost every dish was only 3/4 eaten and everyone's plates are filled to an extent? the only reason of their sudden interest in cleaning up is due to the 4 canned drinks on our table. how do I know? they kept shooting looks at the cans, and one even picked up the can as if it was hers and wanted to take it with her already. HELLO! with all due respect, I truly understand the cleaning uncles and aunties' "motives" of coveting my cans. they can send them in to the recycling company and they get an monetary reward in return. BUT. I paid for the can AND the drink. in another word, the can is also MINE. to give the can to you or not, it is of MY CHOICE, and not for you to just pick the can up from my table and covet it as yours. and its not with us either. Other patrons have this stupid problem too. have u tried taking ur drink, one hand holding onto the can, and the other hand holding onto the cup, just to prevent the cleaning auntie from taking away your half-filled can? it is totally ridiculous. i don't have a problem with giving them the cans. I just cant put up with the stupid behaviour by simply just grabbing the can without asking. BAH.
once again, i have tonnes to show.... SNEAK PREVIEWS of our new Terminal 3. and for all the sua-kus reading this (*smirk), please DO NOT confuse the Budget Terminal with Terminal 3. They are 2 different locations. Terminal 3 is the largest among T1, T2 and the Budget Terminal. And it is powered by solar panels. How cool is that? and basically, the CYAs went there as trial participants. In short, we had to pretend that we were visitors, and went through check-in, the norm procedures of checking for "illegal" items such as filled water bottles (yes, pls dont be sua-ku. no ice mountain, no evian, NO WATER), knifes/penknifes, etc etc etc. and so we had our boarding passes from SIA, but no airplanes included. OH WELL. i have more photos at moses'. gotta wait till he pass them to me.
